I guess if all else fails yous tin convert them to DNG's.

I don't fifty-fifty think they support Fuji raws but I could be wrong with that.

If Amazon doesn't support CR3, y'all tin convert all cr3 to DNG with cr3 embedded

cd .
md .\DNG
for /r . %%i in (*.cr2 *.cr3) do "C:\Programme Files\Adobe\Adobe DNG Converter\Adobe DNG Converter.exe" -c -p1 -eastward -d .\DNG "%%i"

In this instance, DNG are backuped and an extract tin restore your CR3 !!

No more additional space used in Amazon Photograph !

I use DSLR downloader Pro to copy from my SD cards into my reckoner. It ailows me to organize photos on the fly.
it will likewise at the aforementioned time as copying, create a DNG raw.  So you lot can place the DNG raw in the Adobe photos directory and identify the original CR3 file somewhere else on your bulldoze (or simply delete information technology afterwards).

It's a big cludgy just if yous piece of work with lightroom,etc information technology probably is a skilful solution.

it will as well at the same fourth dimension as copying, create a DNG raw. Then you can place the DNG raw in the Adobe photos directory and identify the original CR3 file somewhere else on your drive (or simply delete it later).

I grabbed a 1TB option for amazon, and that combined with the free aspect is adept plenty for now for me. I can't be bothered to convert to DNG.

to exist honest, I never worry almost off site archival anymore. it just happens.  Partly because my laptop never really gets shut off, so every bit i piece of work on photos on the day, it has all dark to take hold of up.

so in esssense i have continual backup off site that is for the most role, completely hands off.

granted alot of sync solutions do something very like, but I found amazon to be the most economical if you take into account;

- size of the company. ie: odds they will survive over fourth dimension.
- the amount of older archivable images I accept that would sit on "costless".

As it stands, I have effectually one.5TB that sits on complimentary, and a little over 300GB that right at present I accept to pay for; so that is a good ratio for me.
